Stillness Inspirations

In the still of the forest,
on a bright sunny day
The breeze is soft as an angels kiss
It's nearly like a different world away
As you watch the clouds not one you miss

As the trees and flowers sway as a sail,
A woodpecker works on a rotten old tree.
And a squirrel 's flickering his bushy tail
Just as I see him,
he's spotted me

As you gaze across the flowers here
You spy a tiny fawn
Mother must be watching  near
While baby's been napping since the break of dawn

In the still of the forest when it's quiet
And there is no one else around
Comes peace to the soul of the searching
That often can be found
